Do you REALLY know what 120 beats per minute is? I seriously doubt that many musicians have a built in clock that good. So play with a metronome. It will help you keep your rhythm steady. Tip number 2 – Practice your blues progressions in repetitions. In other words, let’s say you’re practicing a 16 bar blues progression. You don’t want to do it just one time and stop. You want to do that progression maybe four or five times (90 total bars) before you take a short break. The reason is because by practicing that progression over and over, you begin to get into a flow and your brain and fingers begin to automatically play the notes. You ______continued.
